Qualifications and role requirements:
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • Relevant qualification in Sales, Marketing, Automotive, Electronics, or a related technical field (advantageous).
  • Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in technical sales, account management, or business development.
  • Experience within vehicle security, automotive electronics, telematics, or related industries will be advantageous.
  • Strong technical understanding of:
    • Vehicle electronics

    • Automotive security systems

    • Wiring and installation environments

  • Established network within automotive dealerships, fitment centres, auto-electricians, or fleet operators is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office / CRM systems).
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the region.
Duties & Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development

  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Manage and grow an existing customer base.
  • Identify and secure new customers and business opportunities.
  • Generate quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close deals.
  • Ensure compliance with company pricing and discount structures.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide suitable product solutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries and technical support.

Technical Support and Product Knowledge

  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations.
  • Provide first-line technical support and guidance to customers.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the product range and industry developments.

Reporting and Administration

  • Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline and customer records.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Attend sales meetings, product training sessions, and industry events.
