MARKETING & DESIGN ASSISTANT

Qualifications and role requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Design, or a related field
  • 0–5 years’ experience in a marketing or graphic design-related role
  • Experience with design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign advantageous)
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing channels and social media platforms
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools (e.g. Mailchimp)
  • Exposure to website content management systems (advantageous)
  • Strong creative, writing, and communication skills
  • Good attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work within a team

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Design Manager and marketing team with marketing and design projects
  • Support the creation of marketing materials including social media content, email campaigns, and print assets
  • Assist with content creation and copywriting for social media, email marketing, and website updates
  • Create basic visual content using Canva or Adobe tools
  • Help coordinate and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Maintain and update website content, images, and product information
  • Assist with basic SEO updates and identify content issues
  • Support social media management, including scheduling posts and monitoring engagement
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns and database management
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the marketing team
  • Stay up to date with marketing and design trends

PROJECT MANAGER

Qualifications and role requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Project Management or a related field
  • Lean Manufacturing Black Belt certification (advantageous)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Project Management
  • Proven experience in factory relocation projects (highly advantageous)
  • Strong budgeting, reporting, and cost-control skills
  • Ability to work with international stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure the timely execution of a new factory construction schedule
  • Monitor and control project expenses in line with the approved budget
  • Report any schedule or budget deviations to the international Project Manager
  • Provide weekly progress reports and participate in project meetings
  • Coordinate and manage relationships with local suppliers
  • Lead workshops with South African teams to define layouts and organisational structures
  • Oversee the transfer and implementation of suppliers, goods control, and storage processes
  • Ensure the successful relocation and commissioning of the new facility

Maintenance Team Leader

Qualifications and role requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role
  • Trade Test or relevant technical qualification (Mechanical/Electrical preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance systems, equipment, and processes
  • Ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Computer literacy (MS Office and maintenance systems advantageous)
  • Valid driver’s licence (advantageous)

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities and team performance
  • Plan and manage preventative and corrective maintenance schedules
  • Ensure minimal downtime of machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose faults and oversee repairs on plant and equipment
  • Monitor maintenance costs and control expenditure
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company policies
  • Train, mentor, and develop maintenance staff
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
  • Liaise with production teams to ensure operational efficiency
  • Manage breakdowns and implement root cause analysis for continuous improvement
