• Previous experience in a technical sales or sales representative role.

• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.

• Ability to prepare accurate quotations and work within established pricing and discount structures.
• Technical/product knowledge relevant to the company's products and solutions will be advantageous.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maximise sales and grow market share by presenting and selling the company's range of products, solutions and services.
• Meet and exceed personal sales targets.
• Conduct ongoing sales canvassing and identify new business opportunities and prospective customers.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Understand customer needs and ensure that expectations are consistently met and managed.
• Generate accurate quotations in line with customer requirements.
• Follow up on quotations and opportunities and ensure speedy closure of deals.
• Ensure compliance with company pricing and discount structures.
• Work closely with technical support and product specialists where required.
• Attend sales meetings and relevant training.
• Maintain an up-to-date sales calendar and manage customer appointments effectively.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain demonstration equipment in a safe and good working condition.
• Conduct product demonstrations for prospective and existing customers.
• Assist with marketing initiatives as required.
• Provide product training to customers where appropriate.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing customer accounts and develop new business.
