Duties & Responsibilities
Quality Systems & Compliance
- Implement and support Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949).
- Conduct process, product, and system audits and ensure audit findings are closed out.
- Ensure calibration schedules and measurement standards are maintained.
- Monitor compliance to safety, legal, and customer-specific requirements.
Quality Control & Improvement
- Ensure products conform to approved standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Analyse defects, trends, and production data using statistical tools (SPC, Pareto, trend analysis).
- Lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (e.g., 5 Why, Fishbone).
- Investigate and resolve internal, supplier, and customer non-conformances.
Reporting & Communication
- Prepare and present quality KPIs and reports.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation, control plans, inspection standards, and test protocols.
- Act as a point of contact for internal teams and customers on quality matters.
