We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Heat Press Operator to operate industrial heat press equipment and ensure that products are processed accurately and according to job specifications at our clients site.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and calibrating heat press machinery, maintaining accurate operating conditions and ensuring that finished products meet the required quality standards. The role requires someone who is reliable, safety-conscious and able to work efficiently while meeting daily production targets
Qualifications and role requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ direct hands-on experience operating industrial heat press machinery.
- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing or textile environment will be advantageous.
- Ability to set up and calibrate heat press equipment according to job specifications.
- Good attention to detail and quality awareness.
- Ability to accurately monitor temperature, pressure and dwell time.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet daily production targets.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Reliable, responsible and able to work effectively as part of a production team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Set up, calibrate and operate heat press equipment according to job specifications.
- Ensure accurate temperature, pressure and dwell time settings.
- Monitor the heat press process to ensure consistent and accurate results.
- Perform quality checks on finished materials to ensure print durability and accuracy.
- Identify and report quality issues or equipment-related problems.
- Pre-stage materials required for production.
- Stage completed products for downstream processes.
- Maintain an organised, clean and safe working area.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and production requirements.
- Work efficiently to achieve daily production targets.
- Ensure equipment is operated correctly and responsibly.
- Assist with maintaining consistent production quality and workflow.
