We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Client Operations Co-ordinator to join our Gqeberha operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating business unit operations, managing client relationships, driving business development, and ensuring exceptional service delivery across multiple client sites. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with strong operational management, sales, and client engagement experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications and role requirements:
  • Grade 12 (Matric); a qualification in Business Management, Human Resources, or a related field will be advantageous.
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in operations management, client services, or a similar role.
  • Proven business development and client relationship management experience.
  • Strong understanding of workforce management and service delivery.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client sites and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT

  • Monitor, control, and coordinate business unit operations to meet client expectations and company objectives.
  • Manage and oversee multiple client sites while ensuring service excellence.
  • Develop and implement systems and processes that improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure productivity targets and performance standards are consistently achieved.
  • Assist in developing and implementing client-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANGAEMENT

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through regular engagement and proactive problem-solving.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services within existing client accounts.
  • Resolve operational issues promptly and professionally.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Source and secure new clients in line with business development targets.
  • Increase client headcounts and expand existing business relationships.
  • Conduct weekly meetings and presentations with prospective clients.
  • Identify new market opportunities and contribute to business growth.
  • Achieve agreed sales and KPI targets.

COMPLIANCE REPORTING

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and statutory legislation.
  • Prepare operational and performance reports.
  • Monitor workforce documentation, attendance, incidents, and reporting requirements.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
