We are seeking an experienced, safety-conscious Clamp Lift Truck Operator to join our client's warehouse operations team in Brackenfell. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading, offloading, transporting, and stacking of products while ensuring compliance with company procedures and health and safety standards. This role is ideal for a reliable individual with proven clamp lift truck operating experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or FMCG environment.
Qualifications and role requirements:
- Valid Clamp Lift Truck Licence/Certificate.
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience operating a Clamp Lift Truck.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or FMCG environment will be advantageous.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and health & safety procedures.
- Ability to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely operate a Clamp Lift Truck in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Load, offload, transport, and stack products without causing damage.
- Move materials efficiently between production, storage, and dispatch areas.
- Conduct daily pre-start inspections of equipment and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Ensure accurate stock movement and adherence to warehouse procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
- Assist with general warehouse duties when required.
- Comply with all occupational health and safety standards and company procedures.
