We are recruiting a qualified Civil Engineer on behalf of our client based in Kuils River.
The successful candidate will be placed directly at the client’s operations and will be responsible for overseeing civil engineering projects from planning through to execution, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
This role is ideal for a technically strong engineer who enjoys managing projects, coordinating site activities, and ensuring high-quality delivery within deadlines and budget constraints.
Qualifications and role requirements:
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional registration or eligibility for registration advantageous
- Proven experience within civil engineering or construction environments
- Strong project management and technical skills
- Knowledge of relevant South African engineering standards
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver’s licence

Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and manage civil engineering projects
- Oversee construction activities and site operations
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and statutory regulations
- Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets
- Prepare technical reports and project documentation
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks
- Identify and resolve engineering or operational challenges
