We are seeking a results-driven and highly motivated Business Development Consultant to join our clients growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and driving revenue growth through proactive sales activities. This role is ideal for an experienced B2B sales professional who thrives on generating new business and exceeding targets.
Qualifications and role requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' proven B2B sales and business development experience.
- Demonstrated success in generating and securing new business opportunities.
- Strong prospecting and lead generation skills.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new client opportunities through proactive prospecting.
- Generate and manage your own sales pipeline.
- Approach and engage target employers across various industries.
- Qualify leads and convert opportunities into active sales.
- Conduct face-to-face client meetings, presentations, and sales pitches.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Educate prospective clients on the company's recruitment and workforce solutions.
- Attend networking events and industry functions to generate new business.
- Manage opportunities throughout the full sales cycle.
- Prepare and submit weekly sales activity reports and pipeline updates.
- Identify new market opportunities and industry verticals.
- Gather market intelligence and competitor insights to support business growth.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure exceptional client service and successful onboarding of new accounts.
